alcove a small room with a bed. It is contiguous to the main room (not only a bedroom, but also a living room); it is separated from this room by a partition closed by a curtain.

balcony a platform that projects from the outisde wall of a building. It is enclosed by a parapet.

detached (house) one-family house not connected to any other building, surrounded by a garden.
detached small villa small villa not connected to other buildings, surrounded by a garden.
detached villa (single-family villa which sleeps at least 6 persons) single-family house not connected to any other building, surrounded by a garden, with high quality features. Sleeps at least 6 persons.
direct access to the cove route which leads directly to the sea, with no need to return onto the main road. The access is not exclusive but can be shared with other persons.
distances - the house is very near the coast: the house is between 0 and 150 m from the sea. - the house is near the coast: the house is between 150 and 400 m from the sea. - the house is not far from the coast the house is between 400 m and 1,2 km from the sea. - the house is in the immediate vicinity of the coast: the house is more than 1,2 km from the sea.
double bed bed which sleeps two persons (it can also be a large single bed, but it is always specified).

end-of-terrace, in a terraced complex houses set at the beginning or end of a row of houses, in a terraced complex (see).

pool it can be private (to be used only by the tenants of the house) or shared (use in common with other houses).
porch a roofed structure, open on one or more sides, with pillars or columns.

residential complex fairly wide group of houses and facilities destined for tourists (nearly a small town).
resort complex a group of houses and facilities destined for tourists. A resort complex stretches over an area which is generally smaller than a residential complex; houses have standard features and are under one ownership.

seafront part of a coastal town next to the beach with a wide road or path. Different from a coastal road (a road next to the sea, but outside the town).
semi-detached small villa one of a pair of small villas which are joined into one by a common wall. The two units may share part of the garden or other common areas.

separate entrances in multi-family buildings, it indicates the presence of independent entrances to the different units.

shower small space where a shower device is situated. It is generally enclosed by a masonry or other material rigid frame, or by a plastic curtain.
single bed bed which sleeps one person.
single room bedroom with one single bed.

small villa house with a garden and good quality features. Sleeps at least 4 persons.
small kitchen small room used as a kitchen where there is only space for cooking.
small window usually present in basements. It can be: normal casement windows, sliding, awning, double or single-hung.
sofa bed a sofa which has a part that opens to form a bed. It can be single, large single or double.
storeroom small room for keeping items in while they are not being used.

telephone in most of the properties there is no telephone. It is always specified in the details when available.
tennis court it can be private (to be used exclusively by the tenants of the house) or shared (use in common with other houses). If shared, usage is liable to rules and may have to be paid.
terrace a roofless flat area inside or on the ground floor of a a building.
terrace overlooking the sea terrace in a house very close to the sea, with a view of the sea, built in front of the coastline.
terraced see terraced complex.
terraced complex a row of adjoining or very close houses. The houses at the beginning and end of the row are called end-of-terrace (see).
three-bedded room bedroom with 3 single beds (2 of the 3 single beds can be replaced by a bunk bed, it is always specified).
towels see linen.

tub (bathtub) a plastic, metal or ceramic container which can be filled with water so that a person can sit or lie in it to wash their whole body.
twin-bedded room bedroom with two single beds (the 2 beds can be replaced by a bunk bed, it is always specified).
